HLI has a long history of designing and manufacturing custom systems suitable for demanding applications. For the US Navy, meeting their unique requirements of shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference survivability is paramount. Our ability to develop products by applying new technologies to solve customer problems has driven our continued success for over six decades. With each passing year, HLI expands our product lines, service offerings, and capabilities to better serve the differing needs and specific requirements of the Sea Services.
HLI is staffed with engineers from a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines who have demonstrated knowledge in air dehydration, moisture measurement, and electrochlorination for water treatment.
Each design is conceptualized in three-dimensional space and analyzed using a full suite of tools, including finite element analysis, and computational fluid dynamics. These processes reduce the time required to manufacture the prototype and the cycles needed to achieve optimization. Each product is manufactured and thoroughly tested by experienced technicians. We take pride in our capability to identify and develop the best possible solution to exceed requirements and lower our customer’s total ownership cost.
Beyond design, manufacture, and testing, our engineers and technicians are available to be onsite at new installations to support our customers, ensure your equipment is installed correctly, and train your operators to operate and maintain it properly.
HLI’s manufacturing capabilities include multi-axis CNC machines (with additional, larger capacity in our ODAT division), welders certified to Military specifications, powder coating (through our in-house GDL division), and a clean room. The HLI dew point sensor calibration lab is set up to calibrate the sensors used in HLI equipment and is accredited by A2LA. HLI is ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 certified. HLI’s employee-owners have decades of experience providing quality equipment to the US Navy, US Coast Guard, and commercial clients.
