Model 7144

Low Pressure Membrane Air Filter/Dehydrator

General Description:

The Model 7144 Membrane Filter/Dehydrator is a single, self-contained, fully automatic unit designed to remove water, oil, and solid contaminants from low pressure compressed air. This unit is intended for low-air-consumption applications such as single waveguide runs or other point-of-use requirements.

Moisture removal is achieved by passing the incoming wet air through a BEKO ™ membrane module. Unlike other membranes, the ™ does not remove oxygen from the air stream. Conversely, oxygen rich purge is not vented to the surrounding area. The ™ membrane offers the highest efficiency available, measurably better than oxygen-depleting "three-port" designs. Solid contaminants and oil aerosol are removed by mechanical filtration.

Electrical power is required only for the humidity monitoring system. The basic dehydrator requires only pressurized inlet air to function.

Unpowered contacts for high and low pressure alarms are provided for customer use.
