The Model 7053 Mark I Membrane Dehydrator has been selected for the LPD 17 San Antonio class. It is designed to provide clean, dry air at medium pressure (450 psig) for functions such as Diesel engine controls. Moisture is removed by passing the incoming wet air through a membrane module. Particulate matter and aerosols are removed by a particulate filter and a coalescing filter.
The dehydrator is a self-contained unit designed for continuous, automatic operation.
