Medium-Pressure Air Dehydrator

Features:

General Description:

The Model 7053 Mark I Membrane Dehydrator has been selected for the LPD 17 San Antonio class. It is designed to provide clean, dry air at medium pressure (450 psig) for functions such as Diesel engine controls. Moisture is removed by passing the incoming wet air through a mem­brane module. Particulate matter and aerosols are removed by a particulate filter and a coalescing filter.

The dehydrator is a self-contained unit designed for continuous, automatic operation.

Specifications:

• Built in accordance with LPD 17 Specification 6259K. Welded in accordance with S9074-AR-GIB-010/278. Fully qualified to MIL-S-901C, High Impact Shock (Grade A), and MIL-STD-167-1, Vibration (Environmental) Shipboard. Electronic components in the humidity monitor are EMI-qualified to MIL-STD-461 and subjected to environmental stress screening (ESS).
• Outlet Capacity: 0 - 10 scfm.
• Inlet Air Conditions (defined by specification): Pressure 450 psig
  Temperature 55° F to 125° F
  Maximum dew point 48.2° F at 450 psig.
• Outlet Air Conditions: Maximum dew point of 14.9° F at pressure.
  Pressure not more than 5 psig below inlet.
• Electrical Requirements: 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 1 phase, 500 W.
• Dimensions: 32" W x 10" H x 46" D.
• Weight: 160 pounds.
• APL: To be determined.
• Technical Manual: Mark I: S9551-CG-MMC-010.
• QA System: ISO-9001 - 2000.
