Sam JohnsonMechanical Engineer, joined HLI in 2007. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Most recently he was a fixturing and tooling designer at Dearborn Precision in Fryeburg, Maine, a manufacturer of machined components for oil drilling, medical equipment, and aircraft turbines. He previously worked for HMC in Contoocook NH as a machine designer, designing sawmill equipment.
In previous career, a boat builder. Helped build the Elizabeth II in Manteo NC., The Spirit of Massachusetts in Charlestown Mass., and numerous smaller vessels.
