Field Service

Service Rates:

Technical Representative

 Rate Service Definition
Base Rate (8 hour minimum billing) $1,300/day Up to 8 hours any day Monday through Friday*
Overtime (extended weekdays & Saturdays) $245/hour Weekday overtime (from 8 to 16 hours) and all Saturday time*
Overtime (Sundays & holidays) $325/hour All hours in excess of 16 hours/day and all Sunday and HLI holiday time*
Sea Service Rate (12 hours minimum billing): $2,280/day Services provided aboard a ship while ship is at sea. Twelve hours per day (8 hours at regular rate, 4 at overtime rate) will be billed regardless of actual hours worked.

Engineer

 Rate Service Definition
Base Rate (8 hour minimum billing) $1,800/day
Sundays & holidays $2,280/day Saturdays, Sundays and HLI holidays*
*Travel, standby (waiting or on call), and holdover (not waiting or on call) time are considered service time and are billed at the prevailing service rate.

Expense Rates:

Automobile Rates: Current IRS allowable rate at 110% for actual mileage from offi ce or home to service or departure site. Mileage rate covers the use of personal automobile.
All Other Expenses (including but not limited to vehicle rental, public transportation, incidental fees, lodging and meals): At 110% of cost.
Notes:
  1. Service should be ordered a minimum of two weeks in advance of the required service start date. Service will be provided with less than two weeks advance order contingent on personnel availability.
  2. Service rates do not include parts and materials. The customer must supply any necessary parts and materials.
  3. Public transportation will be charged at the lowest possible rate available to HLI.
  4. Vehicle rental will be charged at the lowest possible rate available to HLI for the size and type of vehicle appropriate for the field service.
  5. All rates are net 30. Deposits may be required.
  6. Rates are subject to change without notice.
